World Civilization

All the things I am going to discuss are of great significance. Sun Zhong Shan was a Chinese revolutionary leader who founded the Hsin Chung Hui(New China Party) in 1894. He was elected provisional president of the Republic of China in December 1911 and played a vital part in deposing the emperor and died in 1925. First revolution that occurred in China in 20th century and saw the break up of the Qing dynasty and overthrew the Emperor was the 1911 revolution. Pressures came on them with the arrival of European traders. This is very significant in Chinas history. Another important figure in Chinese history, who was a revolutionary, political theorist and a communist leader, was Mao Zedong. He was leader of Peoples Republic of China from 1949 till his death in 1976. He contributed to military strategies and his Communist policies are now collectively called as Maoism.

The American Occupation in Japan was a historical success story. During the seven year occupation from 1945 until 1952(The American Occupation of Japan), the Americans restructured the Japanese government its post WWII death. In 1931, the Japanese Kwangtung Army attacked Chinese troops in Manchuria in an event commonly known as the Manchurian Incident. Quintessentially, this was an attempt by the Japanese Empire to gain control over the whole province, in order to finally circumscribe all of East Asia. The Cultural Revolution is the name given to Maos attempt to reassert his beliefs in China. The communist systems of China and the Soviet Union have been repeatedly shaken by the restructuring processes within. In the late 1980s, Soviet Union was entangled in changes and crisis while China sought to revitalize by deconcentrating political power. Japans politics changed between the world wars. The two-party political system that had been developing in Japan since the turn of the century finally came of age after World War I. Despite the political realignments and hope for an orderly government, domestic economic crises scourged whichever party held power.
