BEST HUMAN LIFE

1. Does the best life consist of pursuing just one intrinsic value or several
Answer- I am a PRUDENTIAL PLURALIST. I believe that the perspective of best life keeps on altering itself with the passage of time and the human cycle. For a teenager, the concept of best life would be something entirely different from the perspective of an experienced adult. Since every one has a different perception about best life, so are the values that these beliefs are based on and governed by. However, according to my belief, resting all your hopes and desires that govern your best life perspective, on a single, core intrinsic value might not be able to bear the desired fruits. Its always advisable and wise and I favor to have multiple bridges ready to take me to the desired location if in case one of the bridges is broken mid way or is not leading me to my destination.

Also, it always better to have the fore vision and be well equipped with plan BC and perhaps plan D as well, in case plan A is not giving enough mileage to cover the journey or there are certain changes that lead us to different roads, irrespective of we wanting to go or not, life is funny at times and even unfair as it is at times smooth and slightly rash.

My belief is to have multiple intrinsic values including - Having faith and appreciating good work, and to believe in what I want and to acquire the wisdom as to what is the price that I am ready to pay for it

2. Is there a universal recipe for the best life, or are different recipes best for different people
Answer- I am a MODERATE PRUDENTIAL RELATIVIST. I like to have fried chicken along with coke and lots of fries. It satiates my hunger along with giving me the necessary nutrients that my body needs on a daily basis. This is my point of view of a balanced diet. Is it the same for you May be may be not Depends on a lot of factors - a. Are you a vegan or not
b. Do you like chicken along with coke or pepsi or water
c. Which age group do you belong to  The list of questions would go on and on and yet wont satisfy your quest to know if there is a fixed recipe for anything, let alone best life.
Its like asking if everyone desires to be Brad Pitt, but how many actually can

I believe that though there might be certain things that almost ( almost because there would be certain exceptions here as well  ) everyone desires for and feels will make their lives worth living such as some one to return home to, some one to speak, some one who would understand the unspoken words, some basic necessities such as good food, clothing and shelter, yet one cannot ascertain that everyone would have a best life accommodating only these things. Every other individual might addalter different things or values or needs and wants, depending upon hisher perception of best life.
My perception is therefore based upon having a blend of ever changing, ever altering recipe for best life, which is definitely unique in its own way and hence I am not an advocate of a universal recipe concept for best life.

3. Is the best life a matter of personal opinion, or could a persons opinion be wrong
Answer- I am a MODERATE PRUDENTIAL OBJECTIVIST. I do not believe that man in general is self sufficient in deciding as to what is best for himher as these choices at the time of decision making seem to be subjective just as wearing a shoe or shirt until heshe realizes that the so called best suit is not so good any more as soon as some one else wears a better fit and people around compliment him rather then yourself. You then realize that your mom was right that you should wear a suit ( objective ) of black color ( subjective ) as she by her experience in life has learned what is right and what is not
I believe that an individual though having the subjective view of knowing hisher definition of best life, yet its not necessary that he is right and his subjective opinion could not undermine the importance of objectivity of existence of the ultimate truth, and the fact that you cannot be completely right about everything all the time irrespective of your knowledge.

NATURE OF MORALITY
1. Where does morality comes from
Answer- I am a MODERATE MORAL ABSOLUTIST.
I believe that all humans are different not only in their make and functionality but also in the basic purpose of their lives. They cannot be judged by their looks, color or race just as a book cannot be judged by its cover. However, there is a similarity that binds us all together in a master set known as humanity. It is this humanity that can be used as a synonym in a contextual form to Morality. It is through this that you know that you should help a person in need, that you will reap what you sow, that the good lord is watching your every move, that good deeds never go waste. It is here where morality comes from, and underlies the entire meaning of BEING HUMAN irrespective of the Demographics or cultures.

2. What does morality require us to do
Answer I am a PLURALIST about basic moral standards. I am an advocate of the belief that BEING HUMAN is more than just able to think and act wisely. Morality, is such a wide concept and requires us to be more then just humans. It wants us not only to be true to ourselves but also to the entire humanity. Even animals care for their own family and friends, we being morally attached humans are required
To be able to help beyond necessary.
To care for and help the needy and distressed.
To feed the hungry and treat the sick.
To follow what you do not want done to yourself, dont do it to others.
To be able to stand for truth and justice even in the face of adversity.

3. Why should I do what morality requires
Answer I consider myself a MODERATE ALTRUIST. I would like to site an example from the Hindu scripture Ramayan where in the Great King Lord Rama  gave up his kingdom of Ayodhya, only to fulfill his moral obligation to his father, who had promised the step mother of Lord Rama, that the kingdom will not be governed by Rama but his younger brother Bharata. Lord Rama was sentenced to a 14 year exile to the forests and he inspite of being an avatar of Lord Vishnu, obeyed and did what was morally right.

If we cease to do what morality requires, what would be the difference between animals, humans and devils What would be the basis of existence if we cannot be humans
Why will we be called the best creation of god and can we sleep peacefully
