The natural tendency of politicians to conceal the disparaging truth about the political, economic, and social affairs of a certain place is to make stories so as not to discourage the citizens living in them. Rousseaus philosophy is quite existential though Rousseau himself is not existentialist he is always involved in politics and, as a member of the philosophes, he constantly attacks the weak spots of the French nobility. Jean-Paul Sartre defined existentialism as no involvement in a situation unless directly affected by it, or that one can be a self-determining agent responsible for the authenticity or proof of his or her choices it is the direct opposite of Hobbes empiricism, which is defined as knowledge derived from experience. It does not have a direct impact on discovering the truth, which Aristotle mentioned as objective, or existent in nature and discoverable through mans continuous inquisition.
